Nominations Details

You may nominate yourself or someone else you think would be a good candidate. No prior board experience necessary.  Any nominated member may withdraw their name if they desire.

Once elected, board members are required by national by-laws to be a member of the national Computer Science Teachers Association as well as members of the CSTA Washington chapter.

Nominations may be submitted via Google form (https://forms.gle/9pMVxBmrAGsrKPbbA).  Be sure to include a brief paragraph (around 2-4 sentences) introducing yourself to the membership, so we can include it on the ballot.

CSTAWA Will Support You!

CSTA Washington will cover the modest annual fee for membership upon request.

CSTA WA also invites board members to our first annual Leadership Training Summit in Yakima on June 20th 2026. At this summit, in addition to setting goals for the year, we will have official training to learn how to successfully be a nonprofit organization board member and strategies to best collaborate together in order to support our greater community.
