CSTA provides several online professional development (PD) courses that provide a flexible, deep learning experience that you can complete at your own pace at https://csteachers.org/pd-opportunities/online-pd/

While these courses normally cost $40- $100 depending on the length of the course, they are free to CSTA members. For information on how to join CSTA (and CSTA Washington) at a significant discount from the annual $50 membership fee, visit CSTA Washington – Become A Member.

If you are interested in receiving Washington clock hours for any of these courses, please contact washington@csteachers.org. Unfortunately, we cannot provide Washington clock hours for any course that has been completed before the CSTA Washington board has had a chance to review it. However, look out for an upcoming announcement that CSTA Washington will provide Washington clock hours for the course “Using The CSTA Standards for CS Teachers to Improve Practice”
