Summer of PD Recap: 3rd Annual PNW Regional CSTA Lunch and Learn

“What did you do this summer?” We often get this question when we return to school after the summer. It is also the theme for our 3rd Annual PNW Regional CSTA Lunch and Learn on Saturday, August 29, from 12 – 2 pm.
Every year for the past 3 summers, we’ve hosted a “Lunch and Learn” virtual PD on a Saturday at the beginning of the school year, where anyone gets about 3-5 minutes to “share” about something they learned this summer. Your Pacific Northwest regional CSTA chapters are excited to host a virtual gathering to discuss insights and best practices from our summer “breaks”.
We welcome all humans to share their CS education learnings and/or adventures from various conferences over the summer – including but not limited to CSTA, ISTE, SuperQuest, WA-ACTE – or other meaningful PD and learning experiences!
- If you would like to share one of your PD experiences at the Lunch and Learn on Aug 29: Sign up here by Aug 20.
- If you would just like to attend the Lunch and Learn (but not necessarily speak): Sign up here by Aug 27.
A Zoom link for the event will be mailed on Aug 28.
The current list of speakers and their topics include:
- Randy Macdonald (SuperQuest)
- Lauren Bricker (SIGGRAPH)
- Lawrence Tanimoto (CSTA PK-12 Standards)
- You too could join this list…
